Join the musicians and artists in Ulterior Noises at Monster Mouse Studios in Marrickville for a series of hands-on noise-object making workshops.

With guidance and materials, the participants will produce their own stand alone, amplified noise instrument to take home at the end of the week. We will be providing demonstrations and guidance on composing noise and soundscapes, and expertise on how to manipulate sound live with free use of our Pedal and Effects Library.

These workshops are designed to empower you by providing you with the techniques and equipment to make sound-based artworks out of found materials, so you can exhibit your work at a professional exhibition at Monster Mouse Gallery at the end of the week.

The public will be invited to attend and celebrate the vibrant subculture of sound-art in the Inner West at the end of the week.
