Monster Mouse is a Creative Studio in Marrickville.

With space for many contemporary artists and makers, Monster Mouse provides an opportunity to interact with a mix of emerging and established artists in a supportive and creative environment.

We have various studio spaces available for monthly hire as well as an exhibition space perfect for shows, classes and events.

Monster Mouse Studios is offering a free 'live' mu

Monster Mouse Studios is offering a free 'live' music video recording session to bands with lyrics that challenge injustice.
DISCHORD & DISSENT!

Bands will perform and record a live 8 track recording of a song with HD video in one take. The videos will be mixed, edited and uploaded onto our social media for its debut.

We will also be awarding one prize of 25 single colour band tshirts based on the best lyrics, performance and music

To apply message or email us with your band name, social media links and lyrics to the song you want to record.

Recording will be film in late July.

Please welcome our newest artist-in-residence Hethre Contant.
Hethre is a sound artist and radio producer whose work nurtures play, experimentation, and curiosity.
Hethre’s residency project addresses the different ways we occupy public space, and the potential for individual and collective action to shape that space. She is producing a series of podcasts that will guide listeners while they walk through the city and encourage them to think about the ways their subject position shapes their experience of public space.

Meet our new artist-in-residence Matt Boon Meng Ng! Matt is a disabled queer catholic Chinese-Australian who grew up in Riyadh. Matt’s background is as an activist working on environmental, queer, and labour issues. His current work addresses the need for strong geographic communities, especially in the context of COVID-19 and its impact on workers and tenants. He’ll be using art and poetry as tools to bring together his neighbourhood by curating a zine that combines visual art, creative writing, and tenants’ rights.
